Does it hurt? The level of discomfort during a lip blush procedure can vary from person to person. Some individuals may experience mild discomfort, while others may find it slightly more uncomfortable. However, most professionals take steps to minimize any pain or discomfort during the procedure. Topical numbing creams are applied to the lips before the procedure to help minimize pain. These creams help to numb the area, making the procedure more comfortable. Additionally, use additional numbing gel during to further reduce discomfort. It's important to note that while numbing creams and techniques can help, everyone has different pain thresholds, and individual experiences can vary. Some clients may only feel a slight sensation, while others may feel more discomfort. Overall, while lip blush is generally well-tolerated, it's important to keep in mind that it involves the use of needles and may cause some discomfort. If you have any concerns about pain or discomfort, it's best to discuss them with your technician during the consultation before proceeding with the procedure.

What is Feathertouch?Feather touch brows, also known as microblading, is a semi-permanent tattoo technique used to create the illusion of fuller brows. During a microblading session, a technician uses a special hand tool with fine needles to deposit pigment into the skin. The tool creates fine cuts in the skin and the pigment is implanted into the upper region of the dermis, making it more superficial than a traditional tattoo. The process allows for the design of individual, natural looking hair strokes, which mimic the natural brow hair and patterns. The result of feather touch brows or microblading is cosmetic eyebrows that look more full and realistic. Remember that this technique's effect depends on several factors, including skin type, lifestyle and aftercare. The result usually lasts between 1 to 3 years, depending on these factors. Maintenance touch-ups can also extend the longevity of the results.

What is Ombre?Ombré brows, also referred to as powdered brows, are a semi-permanent eyebrow styling technique that uses a small machine to place extremely fine dots of pigment into the skin, creating a soft-shaded brow pencil look. It gives great definition and depth to the eyebrows. The ombré brows technique differentiates from microblading in its distinctive soft fill. "Ombré" meaning shaded in French, represents the effect this technique creates, with a subtle shade gradient from light (at the thin tail end) to dark (the thick center of the brow). It gives a soft, misty, powder-filled brow similar to the look of makeup, as opposed to simulated hair. The tails of the brow are darker and fade into a light beginning to the brow, giving a perfect ombré makeup affect. This technique works on all skin types and is especially perfect for those with oily, sensitive, or mature skin, or those wanting a soft makeup look. As for the longevity of ombré brows, they typically last longer than feathertouch brows, often up to a 2- 3 years before a colour boost is needed

What is Combination Brows?Combination brows, as the name suggests, is a combination or fusion of two forms of semi-permanent eyebrow methods: feathertouch and powder (ombré) brows technique. Microblading is done using a hand tool with ultra fine needles and each 'hair' is gently etched into the skin, giving an incredibly natural and realistic look. Ombré or Powder brows are done using a small tattoo machine that gently inserts pigment into the skin that looks soft and misty. In a combination brow treatment, microblading is usually applied at the start of the eyebrow to give a natural look, as these hairs tend to be finer in reality. The rest of the eyebrow is then given a powdered effect, which offers more density. This mixture results in brows that appear natural yet perfectly filled in. The end result of combination brows is a beautifully defined, natural looking pair of brows that would suit any face. And the benefit of the combination brows is that it's ideal for all skin types. The longevity is similar to the methods individually and often relies on skin type, lifestyle and aftercare, typically between 1 to 3 years.

How long does cosmetic tattooing last?Feathertouch: On average, this eyebrow treatment can last anywhere 9-18 months as I use semi-permanent pigment which is metabolised by the body. Ombre and Combo: 12- 24 months Can vary depending on the individual's skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare routine. Typically, ombré brows can last anywhere from 2 to 3 years. However, it's important to note that most professionals recommend a touch-up or "color boost" every 12-18 months to maintain the depth of color and detail of the strokes. Remember, everyone's skin heals and accepts the pigment differently, so the results can vary. Following proper aftercare procedures such as avoiding excessive sweating, sun exposure, and refraining from using exfoliating products on the brow area can help maintain the results for a longer period. Colour Boost/annual touch ups are highly recommended to keep your tattoo looking fresh
